Cake Smash & Splash Sessions
Wow! I wish this type of stuff was a thing when my kids were little.
Cake Smashes are done to celebrate that special birthday and it's so fun to be creative, watch them explore that cake and hopefully smash it into their face, hands and on the floor. I have a list of ideas if you need help with that. I would appreciate at least 1-2 months to plan, prepare and order items needed for my smash sessions.
This session include 2 different setups - one clean setup without a cake and one with a cake and is finished off with bubble bath in one of my tubs.
Based on the theme chosen a backdrop, cake, props and wardrobe recommendations are discussed, planned and ordered. I'll start with seasonal set, progress to cake smash set and finish with a splash in one of the tubs so we can clean up and snap a few more shots for your gallery.
Cake Smash Session fee is $475
includes choice of 15 digital images with option to purchase additional images and/or products
The cake is included in price (up to $55) and I with an amazing baker that truly makes my client's cake dreams come to life.
I handle all the ordering with my baker and even pick it up so it's ready to go when you arrive for your session.
Just think, it's one less thing to not forget on the day of the session.
Things to bring to the cake smash:
Extra clothes for you and your child - yes you will get messy too.
Snacks or treats to hide in the cake - believe it or not most kids don't want to touch the cake so we need to "encourage" them to touch it
A favorite toy, music, song or cartoon (on your phone) - trust me - it can be tricky to get your 1 year old to perform for the camera despite how photogenic they are at home. I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to get their attention and make them smile but ultimately I need your help too when they freeze in from of my camera.

Step 1
Choose a cake design
Customized cakes are the perfect touch to your baby's cake smash. I work with an amazing baker who can make your vision come to life. I will handle the order, pickup and have it ready for you at the session.
You are also welcome to bring your own cake.
Step 2
Plan Ahead
Try to schedule session for after normal nap time and bring some snacks to hide in the back of cake.
2 setups are included with smash sessions and we will finish up with a fun bubble bath.
Step 3

Let's get creative and make your baby's first birthday special. If you can think it we can do it. I have over 100 different backdrops and 100s of props to make your vision come to life.

Is cake included for cake smash?
Cakes are NOW included in the price. I work with an amazing baker that can make your vision come to life. I will order and have the cake at the studio the day of your session. So all you have to worry about is bringing your little one.
Do I need to bring outfits?
I have an extensive collection of outfits and wardrobe for ages newborn to 18 months. I do not permit my items to be worn for the actual smashing of the cake but I will discuss options on what to bring or possibly purchase to coordinate with your theme.
Do you have a list of themes for cake smash?
Yes! I have a bucket list of themes I want to try and would love to share that with you. If you choose a theme off my bucket list that hasn't already been booked you will receive extras images with you gallery.
Can I order prints and products?
Yes, I offer prints and other gifts. You can customize a collection of products to satisfy your needs and budget. Ask for a price list.
