I pride myself in a genuine relationship and want to become a part of your family as your photographer and watch your family grow year after year.
Now that you decided on who will be your photographer - lets talk about what to expect before, during and after your session.
Every newborn client is offered a meet and greet just to be sure we are a good fit. We will be working together for awhile and I want every question answered and you to feel 100% confident with your choice of photographer. We can either meet in person or chat on the phone. During your meet and greet we will go over your vision and discuss ideas including your desired colors, general theme and overall vibe you want to achieve. Newborn sessions are best if captured during the first 10 days so I can pose them in all those cute wrapped and squishy poses you see posted on all of my pages.... so have me on speed dial once your baby arrives.
Each session includes 2-3 setups utilizing various props, outfits and accessories from my extensive studio collection. Just wait till you see how many props I have. If requested parent and sibling shots are included. I'll keep shooting until I finish all the sets or when baby's body language tells me they are done. I have perfected my skill over the years, attended workshops, educated myself on newborn safety, proper handling and posing and will patiently position your baby to capture those sweet first days.
Most sessions last 2-3 hours so bring plenty of supplies for baby and snacks for Mom, Dad and siblings.
Newborn sessions are usually scheduled for weekday mornings. I offer very limited availability on weekends as I wish to spend time with my own family.

Prepping for your session
Once session is booked I will send a newborn prep guide that explains exactly what to bring to your session. This email is very important in making your session a success. I love pacifiers - even if you don't plan on using it bring it anyway as the sucking motion can be the difference between sleepy baby and awake baby. Many times babies need to feed more often due to handling during their session so please be prepared to nurse or bottle feed while in the studio. Dirty diapers happen and naked babies are the norm in the studio so I am prepared for the occasional mess. Bring extra set of clothes for yourself just in case. I have an assistant who works along side of me to help keep baby safe at all times, occasionally I will have Mom or Dad help hold a head or hand so I can be sure to capture that perfect pose.
The studio has plenty of seating to relax during the session, so feel free to bring some snacks and sit back and relax while I work my magic -- McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts and an ice cream shop is right down the street.
Your session is over.... Now what?
Newborn clients have the choice to pick from an online gallery and receive digital images or set up a separate appointment and have the image revealed with a slideshow and select the best products to display in your home.
Digital Images:
You will receive a watermarked proof gallery within 2-3 days after session.
You pick your favorites and I will professionally edit each image selected and send back to you as a digital download and have printing rights to those images.
Watermarked sneak peek will be posted within 7 days on social media.
Image Reveal Appointments:
These clients are interested in a more luxurious experience or don't desire or have the time to print their images themselves.
This is my absolute favorite way to share images as this will be the first time seeing all your newborn's images. One sneak peek is posted on social media within 2-3 days after session.
I will soft-proof the best images from your session and we will set an appointment for 1-2 weeks after your session. At the image reveal appointment it's best to come without your children as this can be a tedious process and it's a great way to get out of house, enjoy a slideshow of your baby, choose your favorite images and how you want to display them. Session fee is the same but if you opt for the in person reveal you will receive $250 credit towards your package purchase.
Each chosen image will be professionally edited and depending on which product(s) you choose will be delivered right to you doorstep - turnaround time can take up to 21 days depending on project. If you need something special by a certain date please keep in mind that some projects take extra time to designed, crafted and then delivered.
I have samples of every product I offer available so you may see and touch while in the studio so you will know exactly what you will be receiving once you package of amazing products arrive on your doorstep.

Want to capture it all? Our 'Watch Me Grow' Baby Plan captures it all - we document from bump to first birthday.
This is for the families that know they want to come back for each milestone during that first year. This package includes five sessions during the first year of life.
Maternity (between 28-35 weeks)

Custom USB with your chosen images presented at end of package term
Total package price is divided over 12 monthly payments (plus tax)
You pick the payment date and I will set up a recurring invoice. At least $800 must be paid for newborn images to be released.
Payment plan usually begins 2-3 months before maternity so we can ensure minimum payment is completed by the time the baby has arrived.
